The ScanMed Team is happy to announce the publication of the Annual Report for 2023!

Last year has been crucial for European railways, as the sector’s future framework at EU level started to take shape with the continuation of negotiations on the TEN-T regulation revision and the publication by the European Commission of key proposals covering capacity management and combined transport. Moreover, the Commission updated the TSI directives and established SERAF, its main advisory body for the Single European Rail Area.

In this shifting European context, and despite a difficult geopolitical and economic situation, ScanMed RFC kept improving the conditions for a prosperous European market. We established new cooperation platforms and working groups, strengthened our partnerships with other rail actors, launched important new projects, and convinced new customers to shift to the railway. In doing so, we continued to contribute further to Europe’s green transition, economic growth, and cohesion.

Compared to previous years, we improved the layout and content of the Annual Report to provide readers with a more captivating and impactful document showcasing who we are and what we do. Moreover, the table of contents contains hyperlinks to move seamlessly throughout the various sections.
