Capacity Needs Announcement for TT2026 via ECMT

For capacity needs on the northern part of ScanMed RFC, meaning all paths and sub-paths between Maschen (DE) and Scandinavia (DK, SE, NO) in both directions (S-N, N-S), please use only the staging version of the European Capacity Management Tool (ECMT) or the Capacity Needs Announcement (CNA) template. Bear in mind that the enquiry and transmission of capacity requirements for TT26 only relates to the Corridor product PaPs and the time frame is decoupled from the TTR concept. Please deliver your capacity needs to rainer.wolf@scanmedfreight.eu by the 10th of July 2024 at the latest.

The CNA structure is intended for all types of needs, including passenger traffic and known traffic. It is therefore very flexible, allowing general inputs in the form of quantities, but also the input of detailed path requirements. For you as a freight RU, you should fill in the fields as far as possible and where you see a reasonable likelihood.

The easiest and most user-friendly way to create a CNA is to create it directly in ECMT. This way you always work with the most up-to-date data structure and are not confronted with the problem of possible errors during import. So, you work in the graphical user interface and not in Excel.

To create an account and access the tool, click here. Instructions and useful information on the ECMT tool can be found on the ECMT page itself or by clicking here.

The CNA template is also available as a normal Excel file. This can be uploaded to the ECMT tool after processing. You can download the template here, while a detailed explanation of how to fill in the CNA Excel can be found here.

If you have any further questions about the process, please contact us at rainer.wolf@scanmedfreight.eu
