The Swedish transport administration has decided that DB Cargo Scandinavia is allowed to carry out test runs with trains up to 835 m. This is an extension of previous decisions, no changes in conditions have been made.
The decision applies under the following conditions:
- It is valid until 31/12/2023;
- Distance for granting the execution of the tests in both directions on the line Malmø freight railway station – Fosieby – Peberhol – Maschen.
The purpose of the test run is to gain data and experience with long freight trains, particularly through tightness tests in varying degrees temperatures
