Total closure of Göttingen train station: Explosive ordnance clearance on Saturday, 30th January 2021

Due to the suspected discovery of several unexploded ordnance and their defusing, Göttingen station will be closed to all train traffic from 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, 30th January 2021, probably until the end of the day.

As early as 7:00 a.m., trains are only allowed to pass through. No rail traffic is expected to be permitted from 9:00 a.m. onwards.

Freight and long-distance trains are being diverted; there are delays and cancellations in passenger traffic.
